Linen Porter – The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester
As we continue to build the team ahead of the opening of The Medlock, Radisson Blu Hotel, we are recruiting a range of contracted team members. We offer flexible working patterns designed to suit a variety of needs:
16 hours per week, across 2 days
24 hours per week, across 3 days
40 hours per week, across 5 days
At Medlock, first impressions matter—but it’s the quiet work behind the scenes that makes them possible. As a Linen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel flows smoothly, supporting both guests and colleagues through care, organisation and attention to detail.
This role is about reliability and pride in doing the essentials exceptionally well. From delivering fresh linen on time to maintaining tidy, well-stocked storage areas, you’ll help create the calm, seamless experience our guests feel, even if they never see the work behind it. Your efforts ensure our rooms are always ready to be prepared with care—fresh, comfortable and effortlessly looked after.
This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.
We're opening our doors soon and we're building a team that's as warm, grounded and full of personality as the city we call home.
What you'll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of all linen movement and organisation across the hotel, ensuring fresh, clean stock is delivered where it’s needed—efficiently, safely and always on time. From distributing linen to collecting used items, you’ll keep operations flowing smoothly so rooms can be prepared to the highest standard.
No two days are the same. You’ll maintain clean, well-organised linen areas and corridors, following all safety, hygiene and manual handling standards while using equipment with confidence and care.
You’ll balance routine linen runs with the unexpected, staying organised, proactive and one step ahead of the service needs of the hotel. Your behind-the-scenes work plays a vital role in ensuring every guest experiences a stay that feels fresh, comfortable and effortlessly looked after.
You’ll be a quiet ambassador for The Medlock, bringing our brand to life through reliability, care and the high standards you uphold—supporting the details that guests remember, even if they never see the work behind them.
Our hotel never stops, and neither does the care behind it. We operate 365 days a year, with shift patterns designed to reflect the rhythm of the business—offering flexibility where possible. Specific hours and working patterns can be discussed at interview.
