Public Area Cleaner – The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester
At Medlock, first impressions matter—but it’s the lasting ones that count. As a Public Area Cleaner, you’ll help create spaces that feel calm, welcoming and effortlessly well cared for from the moment guests arrive.
This role is about more than cleanliness—it’s about atmosphere. You’ll take pride in the details others might not notice, ensuring every surface, corner and shared space is consistently presented at its best. From lobbies and corridors to lounges and public facilities, your work will help shape an environment that feels fresh, comfortable and ready to be enjoyed.
This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

What you'll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of your areas, carrying out both routine and deep cleaning with care, consistency and attention to detail. Whether it’s maintaining high-traffic spaces or responding to the natural flow of the day, you’ll ensure standards are always met—and often exceeded.
Working closely with your team and other departments, you’ll bring a positive, supportive approach, always ready to help where needed. You’ll follow all safety and hygiene standards, using equipment and materials responsibly and with confidence.
No two days are the same. You’ll balance regular tasks with the unexpected, staying one step ahead and taking pride in keeping everything looking just right. You’ll be a key ambassador for The Medlock, helping bring our brand personality to life through the moments you create and the standards you uphold.
Our hotel never stops, and neither does the care behind it. We operate 365 days a year, with shift patterns designed to reflect the rhythm of the business—offering flexibility where possible. Specific hours and working patterns can be discussed at interview.

Experienced in a fast‑paced hotel operation, ideally within a premium, lifestyle or high‑energy environment
