Night Cleaner – The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester
As we continue to build the team ahead of the opening of The Medlock, Radisson Blu Hotel, we are recruiting a range of contracted team members. We offer flexible working patterns designed to suit a variety of needs:
24 hours per week, across 3 days
32 hours per week, across 4 days
At Medlock, first impressions matter—but it’s the care shown overnight that makes them possible. As a Night Cleaner, you'll prepare our public spaces while the hotel rests, ensuring everything is calm, immaculate and ready to welcome guests by morning.
This role is about more than cleanliness - it’s about care, consistency and quiet attention to detail. You’ll take pride in working independently through the night, deep cleaning and refreshing our public areas so every surface, corridor and shared space meets our high standards. From lobbies and lounges to corridors and facilities, your work helps create an environment that feels fresh, comfortable and effortlessly well cared for.
This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

What you'll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of your allocated areas, carrying out both routine and deep cleaning overnight with care, consistency and strong attention to detail. While the hotel rests, you’ll work calmly and efficiently to ensure all public spaces are clean, refreshed and ready for the day ahead—meeting, and often exceeding, our standards.
Working independently through the night while supporting the wider team, you’ll bring a dependable, positive approach, stepping in where needed to ensure everything runs smoothly. You’ll follow all safety, hygiene and security procedures, using cleaning equipment and materials responsibly and with confidence.
No two nights are the same. You’ll balance scheduled cleaning tasks with unexpected requirements, staying organised, proactive and one step ahead. Your work plays a vital role in preparing a hotel that feels welcoming, polished and effortlessly cared for by morning.
You’ll be a quiet ambassador for The Medlock, bringing our brand to life through the care you take, the details you perfect and the standards you uphold—often behind the scenes, but never without impact.
Our hotel never stops, and neither does the care behind it. We operate 365 days a year, with night shift patterns designed to reflect the rhythm of the business. Specific hours and working patterns can be discussed at interview.
