Guest Services Assistant – The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester
As we continue to build the team ahead of the opening of The Medlock, Radisson Blu Hotel, we are recruiting a range of contracted team members. We offer flexible working patterns designed to suit a variety of needs:
20 hours per week, across 4 days
24 hours per week, across 3 days
40 hours per week, across 5 days
At The Medlock, we’re redefining hospitality — refined, genuine and always personal. As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, supporting the Front Office team to create warm, confident welcomes, smooth departures and thoughtful touches that make every stay feel considered and memorable.
This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

What you'll be doing:
Working closely with the Front Office Manager and wider team, you’ll support the smooth running of our Reception and Nights operations, helping to create a warm, welcoming environment where every guest feels recognised, supported and genuinely cared for. You’ll uphold Medlock’s brand standards, contribute to a confident service‑led culture, and take pride in delivering thoughtful, authentic moments at every touchpoint — day and night.
As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in shaping our arrival and departure experience, ensuring service remains consistently polished while bringing the character, warmth and unmistakable spirit of Manchester to every interaction.
You’ll be a key ambassador for The Medlock, bringing our brand to life through the care you show, the details you deliver and the standards you uphold.
Our hotel never stops, and neither does the care behind it. We operate 365 days a year, with shift patterns designed to reflect the rhythm of the business—offering flexibility where possible. Specific hours and working patterns can be discussed at interview.
About you:
You bring an effortless warmth to the floor, delivering service that feels natural, personal and never rehearsed
You lead with empathy and integrity, communicating clearly, staying composed under pressure and showing up with authenticity
You’re genuinely invested in people, nurturing team spirit while building confidence, capability and pride
You’re a trusted communicator and team player — grounded, reliable and deeply connected to the character and rhythm of the city
You have proven customer service experience within a hotel environment, ideally in a premium, lifestyle or design‑led setting
