At The Medlock, we're redefining city centre hospitality with an experience that's polished, heartfelt and unmistakably personal. As Assistant Front of House Manager, you'll support the Front of House leadership team in shaping the guest journey - from warm, confident arrivals to smooth, seamless departures and every meaningful touchpoint in between.
The Medlock, a Radisson Blu hotel is opening at the heart of Manchester's Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football club. This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

What you'll be doing:
Supporting the Front of House Manager, you'll help lead our Reception team, creating a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel seen, supported and genuinely cared for.
You'll champion our brand standards, nurture a confident sales and service culture, and bring structure, warmth and pride to a team delivering Medlock moments around the clock.
As an Assistant Front of House Manager, you'll play a key role in setting the tone for our arrival experience and ensuring consistently elevated service - bringing the spirit and personality of Manchester into every guest moment.

About you:
You have a natural, relaxed warmth and deliver hospitality that feels genuine, and never scripted
You lead with heart, communicate honestly, stay calm under pressure and bring individuality to your presence
You're passionate about developing people - instinctively building team spirit, confidence and pride
You're a strong communicator and collaborator, grounded, dependable and connected to the city's identity
You bring previous hotel customer service experience, in a similar position, ideally within a premium, lifestyle or design led property
