As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Finance Assistant who brings attention to detail, organisation, and a proactive approach to their work. This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, seamlessly integrating with one of the most prestigious entertainment and sporting destinations globally.
The next evolution of the Etihad Campus will see it become a thriving sports and entertainment district, featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class 60,000 seater stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena. It will become a world-class hub for elite sport, music, and entertainment, attracting visitors from around the world.
The new hotel will sit at the heart of a vibrant and evolving Etihad Campus — an exceptional place for guests, teams, partners and fans to rest, reset and immerse themselves in everything the campus has to offer.

What you'll be doing:
As our Finance Assistant, you’re the connector — the person who turns data into clarity, processes into smooth operations, and financial tasks into seamless, reliable support. You’ll be at the heart of the hotel’s financial function, working closely with teams, managers, and the wider finance network to ensure everything runs accurately and efficiently.
You’ll be the trusted go-to for finance queries, a dependable presence within the team, and the guardian of precise, well-organised financial records. From supporting daily transactions and reconciliations to managing the flow of invoices, reports, and data, you’ll make every interaction count — because at the Medlock, details matter and accuracy underpins everything we do.
This is more than administration. It’s consistency, accountability, and confidence — delivered with that unmistakable Medlock personality.
You’ll take ownership of financial processes, systems, and documentation, responding promptly, clearly, and with purpose. No fuss. No fluff. Just sharp, dependable support. With your keen eye for detail and pride in your work, you’ll partner closely with teams to ensure every outcome reflects who we are: warm, hardworking, and committed to excellence.
About you:
You bring a friendly, genuine approach with a solutions-focused mindset, understanding that behind every number is a team relying on your support — you deliver clarity, never complexity
You’re confident, highly organised, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and no two days are the same
You have experience working within hotel operations or finance, giving you a solid understanding of how the business runs and how finance supports performance
You’re a strong communicator who handles financial and confidential information with the utmost accuracy, discretion, and professionalism
