Atlantic Gate's kitchen is open to the room — guests can see the pass, so there's nowhere to hide a scrappy plate. We want a Chef de Partie who's happy with that, and who can hold their own on a busy seafood-and-grill section without things slipping when it gets loud.

The Role

You'll own a section, working alongside the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Chef to keep Atlantic Gate's seafood and grill menu sharp, service after service. Day to day, that looks like:

• Running your section through service — prep, cooking, plating, at speed, to spec

• Keeping every dish off your section consistent, whether it's table two or table twenty-two

• Helping the Senior Sous Chef stay on top of stock, ordering and waste

• Showing Commis Chefs the ropes as they come through your section

• Staying on top of food safety, hygiene and allergen standards without being told twice

• Chipping in on specials and menu ideas as things evolve

You've worked a section in a proper, busy kitchen before, and you don't rattle when the tickets stack up.

Working Hours

Our kitchen operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. As Chef de Partie, your working pattern will be based around a rota that reflects the demands of the business, including peak service times.
