Seaton House, St Andrews is seeking an exceptional Assistant Front Office Manager. This pivotal role is perfect for a service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering unparalleled guest service.
The Assistant Front Office Manager will be responsible for the Reception team. Building a high-performing team is what success looks like, you will be a key face of Seaton House, helping ensure that front desk operations run smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Do:
Manage and oversee front desk operations, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service.
Train, supervise, and support reception team members, helping them meet their personal development goals.
Help implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise workflow.
Ensure smooth coordination with Housekeeping and the Revenue Office to maintain high service standards.
Handle guest inquiries, provide local recommendations, and resolve any issues with professionalism and poise.
Operate guest services technology and systems in line with company standards.
Support the management of departmental budgets and operating costs, helping to control payroll in line with forecasted business levels.
What We're Looking For:
Previous supervisory or management experience, ideally within hospitality or a related customer-facing environment.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and team development.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
IT literate, with confidence using hotel management software and MS Office.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
