We are looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead, inspire and motivate our high performing team to continually deliver exceptional customer service and commercial results.

Crowne Plaza Chester is a complex, high-profile hotel with multiple revenue streams, a strong brand presence, and a talented team behind it. We’re now looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the business with confidence, pace, and heart.
This role is about more than keeping standards high. It’s about setting direction, unlocking performance, and creating a culture where people feel proud of what they deliver — every day.
What this role is really about
As General Manager, you’ll have full accountability for the performance of the hotel. You’ll lead from the front, balance commercial rigour with genuine hospitality, and create an environment where guests return and teams thrive.
You’ll:
Take full ownership of hotel performance across rooms, food & beverage, meetings & events, and commercial partnerships
Drive revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction through smart decision-making and strong operational discipline
Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing leadership team who know how to deliver through others
Create a positive, inclusive culture where people feel trusted, supported, and challenged to be their best
Work closely with brand and ownership partners, representing the hotel with credibility and confidence
This is a visible, hands-on leadership role — ideal for a General Manager who enjoys being close to the operation while thinking strategically about what’s next.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be a proven hotel leader with the confidence to run a complex operation and the emotional intelligence to lead a large engaged team.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager (or equivalent senior leadership role) within a branded hotel environment
Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing multiple revenue streams
A track record of building engaged, high-performing teams
The ability to balance brand standards with local decision-making
A genuine passion for hospitality, quality, and continuous improvement
